Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) has claimed the top award at the Masters Building Association (MBA) Excellence in Construction Awards.
The awards attract entries from New South Wales’ largest commercial, industrial and civil contractors in a range of categories.
Westmead Hospital Redevelopment Early and Enabling Works claimed the Environmental Management award at the black-tie evening.
For WSLHD Director of Redevelopment and Infrastructure, Matt Sydenham, this award is a great recognition of the hard work right across the district when it comes to patient care in all its forms.
“The Award acknowledges the collaborative and collective work achievements of all WSLHD staff that participated in the redevelopment journey in partnership with NSW Health Infrastructure, Multiplex (the builder), project managers, architects and broader consultancy,” Matt said.
“Infrastructure improvements across WSLHD enable our healthcare services to adopt best practice innovative models of care in the highest quality clinical environments to deliver the best possible patient experience.”
