As celebrations for nursing and midwifery staff at Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) continue, WSLHD Director of Nursing and Midwifery Maria Lingam has paid a visit to the teams at Dental Health, Drug Health, Hospital in the Home and Staff Health services.

During her tour of each service, Maria spoke passionately about the dedication of the nursing staff and the significant impact they are having on the western Sydney community.

“I’m really honored, humbled and privileged to be in this position, where I get to represent you all. As a nurse to represent my team of nurses is, for me, the biggest privilege of my career,” Maria said.

“Thank you for allowing that and thank you for inviting me to your space. To me, that’s really humbling.”
