WSLHD staff recognised in King’s Birthday Honours List

WSLHD recently congratulated some of its staff who were acknowledged in the King’s Birthday Honours List.

It is an incredible achievement to be recognised as one of the most outstanding and inspirational Australians whose service has made a genuine difference.

This year’s King’s Birthday Honours List included:

Professor Donald Nutbeam WSLHD Board Member
Received an Office of the Order of Australia (AO) in the General Division for distinguished service to public health, tertiary education, and professional associations and boards. 

Ms Anne Marie Stanfield WSLHD Consumer Representative
Received a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the General Division for significant service to community social welfare organisations.

Dr Paul Lyttleton Gaudry – former Director of Emergency Medicine, Westmead
Received a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the General Division for significant service to emergency and forensic medicine, and to professional associations.

Ms Belinda Cashman, WSLHD Director Aboriginal Health Strategy
Received a Public Service Medal (PSM) for outstanding public service to Aboriginal community health in western Sydney. 

This recognition acknowledges the life-changing impact of our work in healthcare. Regardless of your role at the district, this is something you can all be very proud of.
